Bonus Code Pitfalls
A few things that catch new players out and that no operator advertises clearly:
1. Activation order. Welcome bonuses must be activated before the deposit they apply to. If you deposit first, the funds enter your real-money balance and the bonus does not retroactively apply. There is no manual fix from support for this in most cases.
2. One active bonus rule. Only one bonus can be active at a time. If you've activated the casino welcome and want to switch to sports, you must clear or forfeit the existing bonus first. Forfeiting also forfeits any remaining bonus winnings.
3. Code expiry. Promo codes have expiry windows that aren't always shown on third-party sites. The FS30NDB code in particular is not currently verified — try it but don't build a strategy around it.
4. Code stacking. You cannot stack a promo code with another active bonus. Some sites publish "stack these codes for €X total" guides that don't reflect Velobet's actual T&Cs.
5. Region restrictions. Some bonuses are region-restricted — your country may not be eligible for a specific offer even if the code is technically active. The bonus selector in your account will only show offers your country qualifies for.
6. "Exclusive code" claims. Affiliate sites sometimes promote a "VeloBet exclusive code" with a higher headline match than the standard offer. In our experience these either resolve to the standard public offer with a tracking parameter attached, or to a region-restricted variant the player won't qualify for. Check the terms before assuming you've found a better deal than the homepage offer.
7. Bonus selection is one-shot. When you reach the deposit screen, you typically choose between casino, sports, and crypto welcomes once. After your first qualifying deposit, the unselected offers may no longer be available. Decide which bonus matches your play style before you click deposit.
