Velobet provides a standard set of player-protection controls through your account settings. None of them require approval from support to activate, and most can be set in under a minute.

Deposit limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit over a daily, weekly, or monthly period. Once the limit is hit, further deposits are blocked until the period resets. Decreases take effect immediately. Increases are subject to a cooling-off period — typically 24 hours — to prevent impulse changes during a session.

Session time reminders

A periodic pop-up that tells you how long you've been playing in the current session. Useful as a reality check during long sessions, when time perception slips.

Account cooling-off period

A short-term break from your account, ranging from 24 hours to 30 days. During the cooling-off period, you cannot deposit, place bets, or play. Your balance remains intact and the account reactivates automatically at the end of the period.

Self-exclusion

A longer-term block on your account, ranging from 6 months to permanent. Once self-exclusion is active, you cannot reverse it before the period ends. Velobet will close your account, refund any verifiable balance, and prevent re-registration during the exclusion window. Self-exclusion is the strongest tool in the kit and the one to use if cooling-off hasn't worked.

How to set a deposit limit (step by step)

  1. Log into your Velobet account
  2. Open Account Settings → Responsible Gambling (or Limits)
  3. Choose Deposit Limit and the period (daily, weekly, or monthly)
  4. Enter the maximum amount you want to allow yourself
  5. Confirm — decreases apply immediately, increases require a cooling-off wait
